An antique charming pair of hand-finished Chinese earthenware figures depicting elegant court ladies in traditional robes, each gently cradling a small animal. Their softly modeled faces, elaborate hairstyles, and elongated silhouettes are complemented by layered green, celadon, cream, and ochre glazes.
The partially glazed surfaces, visible clay, subtle crazing, and timeworn finish give the figures the character of collected Chinese decorative pottery. Displayed together, they create a beautifully balanced pairing while retaining their own individual personalities.
