Shipping policy

Domestic & Local Delivery

Shipping of items under 70 pounds not requiring special handling and up to 150 pounds in some cases, are shipped by UPS or USPS.  All orders are shipped from Agoura Hills, CA.  Such orders will be shipped 5-7 days after your order has been placed, unless noted otherwise.

SHOP by Interior Archaeology (SHOP) large items (above UPS thresholds) will be shipped via third party domestic freight carrier. This price is calculated in your cart at checkout.  

Standard domestic shipping costs are calculated as follows:

  • $0 to $98 – $20.00

  • $99 to $399 – $30.00

  • $400 to $998 – $50.00

  • $999 to $1,998 – $200.00

  • $1,999 to $5,998 – $350.00

  • Above $5,998 – $400.00

Large furniture items:

There is a minimum delivery fee of $200.00 regardless of price.  The actual shipping charge is a function of product price and the ship to location from our warehouse in Southern California and will reflect in the shopping cart at time of checkout.  Note that in some cases, items requiring special handling may or may not have delivery resources available.  We will contact you directly if we are unable to serve your specific location.  We currently do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska or outside the continental US.  

Local Delivery 

Southern California White Glove Delivery is available for most of our large items.  The service radius is considered 50 miles from Agoura Hills zip code 91301. This is charged at a $249 flat rate.  All orders shipping within the state of California are subject to 9% sales tax.

All shipments and deliveries are done via third party companies.  We will not be held liable for any damages after product has left our warehouse.  Any transit damage discovered after the fact and not noted in writing on the bill of lading will preclude a damage claim with the appropriate company.  It is the responsibility of the receiver to inspect all items before signing off on the BOL or allowing the driver to leave.  If your order arrives in such a condition, please contact us immediately.  SHOP will accept responsibility for defective or damaged product if determined to be a manufacturing or quality issue.
