Antique French Louis Philippe Period Giltwood Wall Mirror
French Louis Philippe period giltwood wall mirror, mid 19th c., having arched frame with incised geometric motifs, beaded trim, encasing flat mirror plate.
Condition: Mirror plate is intact with very slight silver loss and some evidence of diamond dust indicative of age. The frame with typical gilt loss throughout as commensurate with age and use, some small splits to frame, the bottom section of beading appears to be ground down with the gesso fully exposed. There is a small nail hole at the top of the frame
